I was reading about homeless people on NJ.com. It amazed me that it nearly doubled the number of homeless adults in 2009 than 2008 because of evictions. New Jersey has 7,847 homeless adults and 4,117 children were counted in the Jan. 28 survey or 11,964 in total. I didn't realiz how many people close to where I live are homeless.
